I live as an old and severely 'politically-incorrect' man who smokes cigars.
Although raised as a Christian, I now have faith in my Wife and her children by/with me (and the future they provide) rather than God (and the past).
Further, regarding God, I have figured out, to my own satisfaction, that the God (function) of Genesis 1 is entirely REAL but God has NEVER EXISTED as a free-standing independent entity. The latter is an ILLUSION (ie, something that is different than it seems/appears to be). God depends on and is provided for by the universe (i.e., "the heaven and the earth") rather than vice versa as touted by religious authorities.
Finally, being an old man, I take refuge in the stance: "I am wrong".
